Fengfei (Alvin) YU
Hi, I am Fengfei Yu, an M.S. student in Computer Science and Engineering at UC San Diego, advised by Prof. Rose Yu and Prof. Yian Ma. I received my B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science & Applied Mathematics from Hong Kong Baptist University, where I was advised by Prof. Bo Han in trustworthy machine learning. I also completed a funded visiting program in Computer Science at McGill University. My research interests include generative models, large language model reasoning, uncertainty calibration, trustworthy AI, and reinforcement learning.
Outside the lab, I enjoy exploring diverse cultures and landscapes through films, hiking, photography, and travel, which often inspire new perspectives and ideas.
If you have thoughts to share or would like to connect, feel free to reach out via email. Iβd be happy to chat about research, ideas, or life beyond the lab. Letβs connect π!
