Fengfei (Alvin) YU
Hi, I am Fengfei Yu, currently an M.S. student in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of California San Diego, advised by Prof. Rose Yu and Prof. Yian Ma. I received my B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science & Applied Mathematics from Hong Kong Baptist University, where I was advised by Prof. Bo Han in trustworthy machine learning. Besides, I completed a funded visiting program at McGill University. My research interests include generative models, machine learning, large language model reasoning, trustworthy AI, and reinforcement learning.
Outside the lab, I enjoy exploring diverse cultures and landscapes through films, hiking, photography, and travel, which often inspire new perspectives and ideas.
